mayrasterling.com is the website of Mayra Sterling, an independent author of wellness guides for women over 50. The site offers books, free resources and a free BMI calculator, for information and education only. It is operated independently by one person and is not affiliated with any medical institution, and nothing on it is medical advice.
2. Information this site does not collect
When you use the BMI calculator, your data stays on your device. This site does not collect, store, transmit or process:
- Your height or weight values entered into the calculator
- Your BMI results
- Your name, email address, or any personal identification
- Your location data
- Any health information
All calculations are performed locally in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere.
3. Information that may be collected automatically
Like most websites, the hosting provider may automatically collect standard server log information, including:
- Your browser type and version
- Your operating system
- The pages you visit on our site
- The date and time of your visit
- Your IP address (anonymised where possible)
This information is used only to keep the site running. It is not used to identify anyone.

This site does not currently display advertising. If advertising is added in future — and if it is, it would be limited to the free calculator and article pages, never to the book pages — this policy will be updated first, and this paragraph will say so plainly.
